The contract for the construction of the
First Stage of Istanbul Sewerage Project
comprises boring of 3 tunnels on the South
West side of Golden Horn at Eyüp, Haliç
and Fatih 1858 m., 2648 m., and 1877 m.
long respectively, 2 nos. of deep shaft
constructions, construction of 19 manhole
chambers, 1122 m. R.C. piping installed
on open cut trenches sea discharge outlets
and installation of 15 high head sliding
gates of sizes from diameter 1.20 to 2.60
m. |
