The Optical Line Terminal Equipment (OLTE),
together with optical ground wire (OPGW)
was provided various communication services
such as speech, data and teleprotection
between New Suez and Taba.
The work comprises supply, installation
and commissioning of 300,000 meters of
OPGW and accessories, 4 equipment terminals
and 2 repeater stations including line
terminal equipment, multilexers and solar
power supply for repeater, the necessary
cable tools and test equipment.
