This work has been carried out in order to determine the soil conditions of Bourgas Port , Basin Area, Wharf Foundation, Reclamation Area and Breakwater Foundation. A total of 48 boreholes were drilled. 15 boreholes on the Basin Area, 6 boreholes along the base of Wharf Foundation, 18 boreholes on the Reclamation Area, 8 boreholes along the Breakwater Foundation site and one borehole at the Access Channel.
