OF THE PROJECT

The Melen Project is a large water supply project for Istanbul . The project will be constructed in phases and when complete will supply 38.5 cubic metres of treated water per second equating to about 50 per cent of the city's requirement. The Phase 2 project covers a total of 3 deep marine boreholes and were drilled down to depths of between 77.50 m. to 94.75 m. along the Final Bosphorus Tunnel (Marine Section) alignment.
