1870 km˛, Setting up, surveying and calculating triangulation network of Istanbul Metropolitan Area. A geodetic network covering an area of 50 km x 50 km was established within the metropolitan area of Istanbul . This network has formed the reference framework for the photogrammetric and terrestrial mapping later.
